Who we are
This policy explains how X2Download handles information when you use our free YouTube downloader. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean X2Download. You can reach us at contact@x2download.online.
What happens to the link you paste
When you paste a link, it is sent to our server and to a processing partner, only to find the available video and audio files. We do not keep the links you paste, the files you save or a history of your downloads. You do not need an account, so we have no profile about you.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga), and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. You do not need an account, and we do not keep the links you paste or the files you download. Some buttons also open a page from our advertising partners. Those pages are run by third parties, follow their own privacy policies and may use cookies.
Technical data
Like every website, our pages are delivered through hosting and network providers. These providers may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure.
Images and files from other servers
Video thumbnails load from YouTube's image servers. The file you choose is prepared and delivered directly by our processing partner's servers, which also report its progress to this page, and it downloads when you tap Download. Those servers can see your IP address when they send you the image, the progress or the file.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to answer you. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Children
X2Download is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or ask any question about this policy. Because we keep no download history and no accounts, in most cases we hold nothing about you. Write to contact@x2download.online.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
